Romanesque hermitages of la Garrotxa
Although some structures from the 11th century do still stand, most of the surviving medieval buildings in La Garrotxa date from the 12th and 13th centuries.

Cycling route of Santa Pau
The route connects the Can Blanc district with the car park of the Area of Santa Margarida, passing the Area of Can Serra (Fageda d'en Jordà) and Can Xel.

Grau d'Escales route. Route 2 Montagut i Oix
Grau d'Escales is a relatively easy pass (grau = ‘pass’ and escala = ‘step’ in Catalan) between two abrupt cliffs from where there are good views of the Salt dels Lliberals (Liberal’s Leap).

Sant Sepulcre de Palera route. Route 8 Beuda
This route will take us to one of the most remarkable buildings among the witnesses of Romanesque art and an exceptional pilgrimage center in the Besalú county, Sant Sepulcre de Palera.

Els Comuns. Route 1 Tortellà
The route takes us to the Comuns quarry, a stone extraction site that used to build the Olot motorway to Besalú. The mining activity was stopped in 2010 and is currently under restoration.

Route to Montagut. Route 2 Sant Jaume de Llierca
This route runs between wheat fields, you will enjoy beautiful views. Throughout the route you will be accompanied by Alta Garrotxa as a backdrop. Recommended for the whole family.
