anta Pau Castle stands in the middle of the village of Santa Pau, which was once enclosed by a series of walls and fortifications. In the fifteenth century, a ‘new’ quarter was built at the entrance to the gate that provides access to the arched squares.
The route begins and ends in Santa Pau, and allows you to visit the space between the volcano of Santa Margarida and the Serra de Finestres, from where there are stunning views over much of the Natural Park.
The route passes along the greenery of the Rocanegra volcano, a geologically very attractive space, and still little known.
