This route is an agreeable stroll through the shady woods of Clot Mal, a stream that runs down from the western side of the slopes around the church of Freixe.
This circular route heads up to the church of Santa Maria de Freixe, although some of the most interesting local monuments are to be found in the village of Mieres, including the church of Sant Pere and the old districts of Sant Pere and La Romeria.
