This path will allow us to reach one of the best viewpoints in La Garrotxa, an Iberian village and a postcard hermitage.

The route climbs gently towards the hermitage of Santa Maria del Freixe, located at the southern end of the municipality of Sant Aniol de Finestres, at the top of the Sierra de Finestres. From there, the route continues to the Iberian village of La Palomera, where you can see a dry stone wall and a kind of tower located inside. From there, the route leads to Santa Maria de Finestres, a temple of Romanesque origin with a single nave that was part of the old village of Finestres, located in the middle of the mountain range of the same name.
