Route between the Vall de Bianya greenway route and Sant Joan de les Abadesses.
This signposted route, 24.1 km long, is one of the connecting sections between the Carrilet greenway and the Iron and Carbon route.
Specifically, this route allows cycling from the Hostalnou de Bianya, where the Vall de Bianya greenway route arrives, to Sant Joan de les Abadesses.
The route passes through Santa Margarida de Bianya, Sant Pere Despuig, Sant Martí de Solamal, the ridge of the Boixedes, the Sant Ponç d'Aulina valley, the coll de Collabós, and -already in Ripollès- through the vicinity of the torrents of Vedellar and Fontfreda, the Planàs bridge and Sant Joan de les Abadesses.
Important: this route has a significant difference in level and passes through several forests, far from services (accommodations, restaurants...), and through areas with little coverage. To travel this route you need to have a minimum of physical condition, bring water and check the weather forecast beforehand.
