The church of La Mare de Déu del Guilar was founded by the knight Simó de Balbs in 1334 as a chapel for the castle of the same name.
This walk starts in Argelaguer and climbs up to the church of Mare de Déu del Guilar after a long stretch along the banks of the river Fluvià.
