You can arrive in bus to La Garrotxa from Barcelona, Girona, Vic, Figueres, Puigcerda, Ripoll, Banyoles...
Among other lines, two should be highlighted: the Bus Transversal, which runs on weekdays between the Plains d'Hostoles and Besalú passing through Olot; and Rumbus, which runs on weekends, holidays and other dates between Les Preses and Santa Pau also passing through Olot. In addition, this city has urban buses (TPO), which run from Monday to Saturday.

Rumbus is a public transport service operated by TEISA that runs the route Les Preses - center of Olot - Fageda d'en Jordà - Àrea de Santa Margarida - Santa Pau on weekends, bank holidays, public holidays and other dates.
The ticket will allow you, for just €2, to make an unlimited number of trips throughout the day and thus discover, at your own pace, all the attractions of the central area of the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park.
Transport on demand
Clic.cat is a public transport service of the Generalitat de Catalunya that has established routes and timetables but is only provided if requested in advance. To use it, you must first make a reservation and indicate the origin and destination stop of the line you want.
Reservations can be made through the Clic.cat application at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time of the first stop of the corresponding line. They can also be done by phone from Monday to Friday on weekdays (8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.). If a place for PRM is needed, it must be expressly indicated at the time of booking.
Through the app, the customer receives real-time information on the position of the vehicle and the time of arrival at the stop chosen in their reservation.
Take advantage of the integrated tariff system!
The integrated tariff system of the Girona ATM allows users of Garrotxa and part of the demarcation of Girona to use a single card to travel by public transport in all the tariff integration zones of the Girona Area.
Travel prices will depend on the type of ticket loaded on the card and the zones you want to cross.
Choose the card that suits you best:
- Ordinary (T-10, T10/30, T-50/30 and T-MES)
- T 16 (free from 4 to 6 years old and unlimited trips within your area)
- T JOVE (from 17 to 20 years old, €47 for 90 days)
- Large or single-parent families
Cards can be anonymous (€2.50) or personalized (€3.50)
