RCR Arquitectes Route

A team of architects, RCR, has placed La Garrotxa at the forefront of architecture. Their unique skill of marrying the landscape and architecture has been rewarded by many different awards, including the prestigious Pritzker Prize (2017).

Sant Grau d'Entreperes to Sant Miquel de Monteia (from Sales)

This route will take you to two of the most emblematic Romanesque chapels in the Sierra de Entreperes, in the Alta Garrotxa.

Lligordà and Palera route. Route 5 Beuda

Itinerary around Beuda, which will allow you to see some of its main Romanesque constructions.

Sant Feliu de Pallerols - Coll de Condreu. Natural Park route 20

The itinerary begins at the old Sant Feliu de Pallerols train station (currently the Tourism Office). It is worth starting with the climb to Coll de Condreu due to the steep slope we find from La Salut.

The basalt cliff of Castellfollit de la Roca

Castellfollit de la Roca sits atop a basalt cliff formed by two overlapping lava flows. Along the route, you will be given an up-close view of a basalt cliff that is spectacular not only because of its height, but also the houses built right on its edge.

The charcoal makers and bac route. Route 3 Mieres

This route is an agreeable stroll through the shady woods of Clot Mal, a stream that runs down from the western side of the slopes around the church of Freixe.
