The Cloiters of Carme, in Olot, are the main example of Renaissance art in La Garrotxa. They are now part of Olot Art School and can be visited on days when the college is open.

GR 83 - Camí del Nord o del Canigó
This route provides links Mataró and Prada de Conflent and the peak of El Canigó. It runs through attractive landscapes in El Montseny, Les Guilleries and La Garrotxa, and includes sections involving considerable climbs once it reaches the Pyrenees.

The itinerary begins at the old Sant Feliu de Pallerols train station (currently the Tourism Office). It is worth starting with the climb to Coll de Condreu due to the steep slope we find from La Salut.
