CAN TRONA Center of Culture and Nature of la Vall d'en Bas is a new equipment where nature and culture of the municipality is gathered and works for the historic memory of La Garrotxa's cultural landscape.

Can Trona Culture and Nature Center consists of a permanent "Ecomuseum" room where there is a space for interpreting our territory: geological formation, history and fauna and flora. The explanation of the different contents is amusing thanks to the visualization of audiovisual differences, touch screens, information panels, etc.

In addition, the visitor will find two temporary and free exhibitions rooms with thematic difernts.

This building consists of an auditorium with capacity for 130 people and all necssary equipments of the latest generation. Possibility to rent. Consult prices and availability with the Vall d'en Bas Town Council (972 69 02 25).

Timetable:

General: Fridays, Weekends and holidays from 10 am to 2 pm. Saturday afternoon: from 4 to 6 pm.

Summer (from July 5 to September 11): Wednesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and Saturday afternoon: from 4 to 7 pm. Mondays and Tuesday closed.

Open also during the week with prior booking for groups.

In the Center of Culture and Nature Can Trona is the new Office of Tourism of the Vall d'en Bas.
