A noble building dated between the 13th and 14th centuries, after being inhabited by different Christian families and a Jew (Astruc David, 1300-1362), it was handed over to the family of Bernat Caballero, the king's attorney.
On the upper part of the building, divided into three floors, you will find the gothic room, which retains a wooden ceiling of the 14th century and magnificent ogival arches. On the ground floor there is a cultural space in which an audiovisual project that provides additional information about Besalú to the visitor is planned.
