GR 83 - Camí del Nord o del Canigó

This route provides links Mataró and Prada de Conflent and the peak of El Canigó. It runs through attractive landscapes in El Montseny, Les Guilleries and La Garrotxa, and includes sections involving considerable climbs once it reaches the Pyrenees.
Shopping in Olot

Right in the heart of the city, next to the basilica of Sant Esteve, the Saints Museum and Montsacopa volcano, is the Plaça Mercat (Market Square) and Olot shopping centre, where you will find more than 300 establishments of all kinds and for all tastes.
Les Bisaroques and Font de les Tries. Route 2 Olot

The Bisaroques volcano is the smallest of the four volcanoes in Olot. Along the way, we will see the black, brown and reddish colors of the volcanic soil.
Broad flat bottomed valley of les Prese (ancient lake), Racó volcano and Pedra Tosca laves circuit.

The arrival of the Croscat volcano lava flow about 11,000 years ago, altered the landscape of this place and its effects extended not only to a wide area but quite reach our age.

This easy walk is perfect for the whole family. You pass along the Carrilet, the former train line to Girona that acts as a reminder of Olot’s rich industrial past. Further on you visit El Parc de Pedra Tosca.
