12th edition of the Origins Fair

Orígens faces a new edition as one of the reference events of the sector and the public. Last year, more than 6,700 people passed through the Olot fairgrounds, and nearly 54,000 tickets were sold. The average expenditure per visitor, according to the surveys carried out, was €50, consolidating the data from the previous edition. Another aspect that the producers have emphasized is that Orígens serves as a platform for them to present and promote their new products.

In addition to the public from La Garrotxa, Orígens has attracted visitors from other regions of Catalonia, especially from Barcelona, which results in a high level of hotel occupancy during the weekend.

Since the first edition, a total of 67,600 visitors have passed, and 495,500 tickets have been sold. In recent years, almost 300 different producers have exhibited at Orígens, and more than 100 renowned chefs have participated, many of them with a Michelin star.
