Sant Miquel del Corb and Sant Martí del Corb, two of the best-kept secrets of the Romanesque heritage of La Garrotxa.
This walk takes you to the churches of Sant Miquel de Corb and Sant Martí del Corb via the Xenacs recreation area, thereby giving you the chance to visit two elements of the county’s medieval heritage and one of the best viewpoints in La Garrotxa.
The circuit starts in Les Preses and heads towards Volcano El Racó, and then follows the north face of the ridge of Serra del Corb to the two churches, situated just 500 m apart from each other. Next, the path climbs up to near the peak of Roca Lladre – without actually reaching it – before turning west along the main ridge of Serra del Corb. Eventually, the path takes you out to the Xenacs recreation area, from where you can take the Barrincoles path back down to Les Preses.
