Summits of La Garrotxa

Discover some of the nest natural viewpoints in La Garrotxa and all provide incredible panoramas.
The two castles route. Route 6 Santa Pau

anta Pau Castle stands in the middle of the village of Santa Pau, which was once enclosed by a series of walls and fortifications. In the fifteenth century, a ‘new’ quarter was built at the entrance to the gate that provides access to the arched squares.
Els Comuns. Route 1 Tortellà

The route takes us to the Comuns quarry, a stone extraction site that used to build the Olot motorway to Besalú. The mining activity was stopped in 2010 and is currently under restoration.

This path will allow us to reach one of the best viewpoints in La Garrotxa, an Iberian village and a postcard hermitage.

The Bisaroques volcano is the smallest of the four volcanoes in Olot. Along the way, we will see the black, brown and reddish colors of the volcanic soil.
