Rediscover nature in the heart of the city. The urban layout of Olot is set around one of the most famous volcanoes: Montsacopa.
The route connects the Can Blanc district with the car park of the Area of Santa Margarida, passing the Area of Can Serra (Fageda d'en Jordà) and Can Xel.
The St James’ Way runs through the county of La Garrotxa and visits en route a number of interesting sites.
Right in the heart of the city, next to the church of Sant Esteve, the Saints Museum and Montsacopa volcano, is the Plaça Mercat (Market Square) and Olot shopping centre, where you will find more than 300 establishments of all kinds and for all tastes.

This route provides links Mataró and Prada de Conflent and the peak of El Canigó. It runs through attractive landscapes in El Montseny, Les Guilleries and La Garrotxa, and includes sections involving considerable climbs once it reaches the Pyrenees.
The Bisaroques volcano is the smallest of the four volcanoes in Olot. Along the way, we will see the black, brown and reddish colors of the volcanic soil.
This route visits two of Olot’s most remarkable volcanoes, Montsacopa and Montolivet.
