Nowadays La Garrotxa apart from being the land of volcanoes, is the land of artists. Rosa Serra, RCR Arquitectes...these are some of the best-known names and with the most distinctive work. Olot Fotografia, Sismògraf or the 30 days of engraving are some of the events organised in La Garrotxa that attract lovers of these various artistic interests.
In La Garrotxa it is possible to view a considerable quantity of sculptures and contemporary works of art in the open air.

Circuit of the cliff of Rocalba. Route 1 Sant Feliu de Pallerols
The Rocalba cliff is an excellent viewpoint over Sant Feliu de Pallerols. The holm and downy oaks take over the forest, but one can also find other species that grow randomly like poplars, willows, chestnuts and cherry trees.

The recreational area of Xenacs in Les Preses provides an atypical view of La Garrotxa and is one of the best places anywhere for getting a bird’seye view of Croscat and the other volcanoes in the area. As well, its height makes it an ideal place.

Via romana de Capsacosta from St Salvador de Bianya or pas dels Traginers. Route 1 Vall dels Sentits
Transited since time immemorial, in recent years this road was used to drive cattle in summer to their high Pyrenean pastures. Until a few centuries ago it was the only existing route to the Camprodon Valley from the Bianya Valley.
