Located in a privileged area next to the Greenways and at the foot of the Catalan Way of Sant Jaume, we find La Vall d’en Bas hostel.

The hostel building, despite being completely renewed in its interior spaces, maintains the structure of what had been the Spanish Civil Guard accommodation. This is why, when we see it from the outside, shape is so peculiar (even two of the rooms keep what had been the surveillance small sentry box).

When we enter the hostel, at first sight, we can see the modernity of the facility. Besides, its spaciousness shows great comfort that our guests enjoy.

La Vall d’en Bas hostel, offers fifty one places, divided into twelve rooms (one accessible) each one with its own bathroom. Rooms have four or five beds but hostel adapts to your needs and we give you the option of having single, double or triple rooms.

Downstairs you will find most services: reception, dining room and living room, as well as some rooms. Upstairs there is a games room and more rooms. On each of the two plants there also are public bathrooms.

At the rear of the hostel you can enjoy a terrace overlooking the Puigsacalm mountain, and the ranges of Llancers and San Miguel de Castellón. At the ground floor there is a garden. Hostel offers free wi-fi, parking for vehicles (including bicycles) and bike rentals. It is an ideal spot to start hiking in la Vall d’en Bas and la Garrotxa, either in guided tours or on your own. Alternatively, you can register to the many activities you can do in the valley and the surrounding area.

We offer balanced and healthy menus, made with local products from the fields and farms around the hostel. You also choose half-board or full board.
